Working With Us

TRANSLATION.IE works with language professionals only.

To work with us, or, obtain work from us as a translator or Interpreter, you must have at least two years of translation or interpreting experience, a degree from an accredited university. Ideally you will be a member of a recognised professional body, such as the ITIA. You must have easy access to email, provide your own tools, and be capable of working on-line, be able to input all diacritical marks in the writing system for your language.

It will be necessary to complete our vetting and selection process. You will be required to comply with quality guidelines, codes of conduct and strict confidentiality agreements and you could be subject to further vetting and background checks.

During the selection process you may be invited to complete our online form and translate a short text for each language pair you wish to qualify in.

We require experienced language professionals with in-depth knowledge in professional field (such as medicine, pharmaceuticals, software, finance, legal and engineering.

Interpreters, narrators, and voice over artists are always in demand.

The greatest demand for interpreting is in community and social interpreting disciplines, work is generally offered on an ad hoc basis 24hours per day, 7 days per week, we require interpreters seeking assignments to be experienced in: Medical, Legal, Garda (Police), Social work, Immigration, industrial and social Liaison interpteing particularly in the construction and chemical industries. Conference interpreters must be highly competent in simultaneous interpretation and experienced with the use of translation booths.

We also need to work with multilingual industrial, manufacturing and software engineering professionals for an array of projects.
